About this policy

Econobyt respects the privacy of customers and people who contact us. This policy explains what personal information we receive through our website, inquiry form, and live chat, and how we use and protect that information. If you engage us for a paid project, we may also process information needed to deliver the agreed website service, communicate about progress, and keep accurate business records.

Information we collect

When you contact us, you may provide your name, email address, business name, existing website address, preferred service or billing plan, and the details of your inquiry. If you use live chat, we may receive messages and the contact information you choose to share.

If you create an Econobyt account, your authentication provider may process the email address and account details you provide during registration. When you become a customer, we may also retain relevant project instructions, business content and assets you provide, approvals, payment or invoice records, billing status, and communications about ongoing updates. Please do not send passwords, bank card details, or highly sensitive information through the public inquiry form or live chat.

Our website and service providers may process limited technical information, including IP address, browser and device details, cookies or similar identifiers, and information used for fraud and spam prevention.

How we use your information

We use information to respond to requests, assess project requirements, prepare estimates and agreements, carry out website work, send progress updates, coordinate changes and approvals, manage invoices, and provide support. We also process information as reasonably necessary to operate and secure our website and comply with applicable obligations.

Sending an inquiry is not a purchase. It does not authorize us to charge you or automatically enroll you in a paid plan. We do not treat a general inquiry as permission to send unrelated promotional messages. Where marketing communications are offered, we will provide appropriate choices.

Service providers and external tools

We use trusted third-party services to help operate the website, including Netlify for hosting, Web3Forms for inquiry delivery, hCaptcha for spam prevention, and Tawk.to for live chat, and Auth0 for customer account registration and authentication. Auth0 may process login identifiers and other information needed to provide secure account access.

These services receive information needed to perform their roles and may have their own privacy notices and processing locations. We may also share necessary project information with authorized team members or contractors working on your website, subject to appropriate confidentiality expectations.

Cookies, chat and CAPTCHA

Our hosting, security tools, and live chat may use cookies or similar technologies to make features work, prevent abuse, and remember certain preferences. hCaptcha may assess signals from your device or browser to distinguish legitimate inquiries from automated traffic. You can manage cookies through your browser, though some features may work differently if you block them.

When information may be shared

We share personal information only where reasonably necessary to respond to your request, deliver the services you have agreed to, operate our website, or comply with applicable law. This may include the providers and authorized personnel described above. We do not sell the personal information submitted through our inquiry form.

How long we keep information

We retain inquiries and project records only for as long as reasonably necessary to communicate with you, provide requested services, maintain accurate invoices and business records, address disputes, and meet legal obligations. When records are no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify them, subject to backups, service-provider practices, and lawful retention requirements.

Your choices and privacy requests

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information about you, or raise a concern about how it is used. You can send a request through our contact form with “Privacy request” in your message, or contact us through live chat. To protect your information, we may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request.

Security and third-party links

We use third-party hosting and form services designed to help protect information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely risk-free. Please avoid including passwords, payment card details, or sensitive personal information in the inquiry form or chat. Our site may link to external sites whose privacy practices we do not control.

Changes to this policy

We may revise this policy when our services, practices, or website tools change. We will publish updates here and use an appropriate additional notice if a change materially affects information already entrusted to us.
